|
Why the name Krishna Loka? |
The name, Krishna Loka, was selected because it directly refers to the spiritual abode of Lord Krishna. It is a spiritual planet in the eternal spiritual sky shaped as an effulgent thousand petaled lotus flower where Krishna sports with his eternal associates in pastimes of love and jubilation. Krishna Loka will attempt to bring to life the mood, activities and atmosphere of the divine abode of the Supreme Lord where every step is a dance and every word a song. |
|
It’s Educational |
There are many wonderful things to learn at Krishna Loka. From the moment you pass through the gates of our walled village, you will be engulfed in an anxiety-free land. Many of the structures and exhibits characterize the style and architecture of the spiritual realm. The Magnificent Temple of Radha-Krishna, the Vedic Cosmos Planetarium, Haladhara Eco Farm, Mystic Waters Spa and Avatara Rides will all be intricately detailed, both inside and out. Thus visitors will get a clear understanding of consciousness, self-realization, Krishna, the avataras, yoga, reincarnation, karma, Vedic astrology, vegetarianism, inter-planetary travel, mantras, eco-friendly living and much more.
At the Vedic Cosmos Planetarium visitors will learn the authorized Vedic view of how the gigantic precision-tuned universe really works, how it was created, the different levels of reality within it, and finally, of the spiritual realm beyond it where all the residents live eternally in full bliss and knowledge. Awaken your consciousness by immersing yourself in visions of the universe as the planets swirl around you, lights and sounds and energies all activate your conscious awareness of the grand cosmic realms beyond anything remotely offered by ordinary science studies.
Expert chefs will entertain visitors with live cooking demonstrations and classes— add to your already excellent cooking skills, or for those new to vegetarian or Indian cuisine, begin learning how to prepare these delicious meals.
At the Rupanuga Vedic college, a student can take courses and earn a degree. |

It’s Delicious |
At our award-winning international restaurants, managed under the supervision of some of ISKCON’s best known world-class chefs, visitors will taste the nectar of sanctified vegetarian food, prasadam. The ingredients will be organically home-grown on our Haladhara Eco Farm and prepared with impeccable cleanliness.
If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, fruit or water, I will accept it. (Bhagavad-gita 9.26) |
|
It’s Down to Earth |
Our motto is “Simple Living, High Thinking.” Knowledgeable and dedicated Tour Guides will bring visitors to the Haladhara Eco Farm where they will see real life examples of lifestyles and practices thousands of years old. Here we plan to preserve and revive traditional Vedic technologies in building an environmentally-friendly agrarian eco-village. Without using tractors that burn fossil fuel and without using chemical pesticides or herbicides we will employ natural low-impact farming techniques. For example, our fertilizers will be derived from organic composts and cow dung. |
|
It’s Inspirational and Healing |
Imagine entering one of the worlds’ largest temples to view a service conducted by live-in residents. The sounds of melodious kirtan along with the smells of fragrant incense and flowers being offered to the beautiful divine forms of Radha and Krishna will transport visitors to the spiritual realm.
They will be able to immerse themselves in the Mystic Waters Spa where recirculating sacred water from the Rivers Ganges, Yamuna, Narmada, Godavari, Kaveri, Sindhu, etc. gently cascades to elevate and purify your body and soul. Everything at Krishna Loka will be designed to bring forth one’s highest inner spiritual emotions and experiences. |
|
It’s Entertaining |
Our musical and theatrical troupes will wander throughout the park recounting many of the events that transpired during the pastimes of Krishna and the avataras such as Rama, Nrsimha and Caitanya. Sankirtana parties will also dance throughout the grounds chanting the holy names of the Lord in great ecstasy.
Watch, as right before your eyes, Lord Rama fights the final battle with Ravana, surrounded by the great monkey warrior devotee, Hanuman and all the Vanaras.
Just look! The Lord Krishna, as a tiny child, decorated by his mother in jewels and kisses, has now been whisked off into the sky by the whirlwind demon, Trinavarta!
Visitors will be able to step aboard the historic Jaladuta ship which brought His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada from India to America in 1965. |
|
It’s Historical |
The history of the Vedas comes alive through presentations by Vedic scholars and through animatronic story rides of the ancient epics Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the Puranas. The “Mother Language Exhibition” will trace world languages from their refined source—Sanskrit. At the “Origins of Man Museum” you’ll find archeological evidence revealing that man was present at the dawn of universal creation along with all species. |
